Cool - I shall keep it!

I was going to keep it anyway, but if you'd have said "take £50 quid while you can because it's worth 50p" then I might have changed my mind!

I'm very fond of this amp - it's just a shame it's so loud and there is no headphone\recording output.

Thank you all for your help though!

Man that is a fine array of mustard caps you have in there, in my neck of the woods those are quite pricey.
those would make alot of Marshall owners green w/ eny

What on earth are mustard caps?!

They sound cool.

here i pointed them out, on Marshalls those make the difference between a $800 JMP head and a $1600 JMP

Hi folks, new to the board and big Laney fan.

I have one of those beautiful Laneys as well. Got quite a few different vintage models as Laney has to be THE amp of choice for me.

It's definitely solid state. It does sound really good I use a Roger Mayer Spitfire OD or a H&K Tube Factor to give it a warm valve sound. Then with the reverb and tremolo it's a great amp. I only got mine a couple of years ago in really good condition. I would definitely sell your amp for £50 (unless it was to me:-)) I've got the smaller 15W SS amp as well which is the little sister of the 30W. It's got tremolo but no reverb.

Keep playing those Laneys.

Just found your post. I've recently bought a very similar amp and I am also at a loss to what it is, when it was made etc. No one seems to know anything about the amp. Here's a link to my post:

Help from anyone would be hugely appreciated!

Cheers
