AOR50 pro series I or II

I'm new to the forum and in the process of purchasing my first tube head. My mind was made up on an AOR50 pro that I found locally on craigslist. Only today did I learn that an AOR50 pro series II is also being sold for the same price as the series I. Both amps are 8 button. From the reviews on Harmony Central, it seems the II edges out the I. I'd like some opinions on what you guys would get. Which is the better buy?

Actually, it's normally the other way around. The Series I normally is picked over the Series II. Some have said that they started cutting too many corners with the Series IIs, but since I don't own a Series II (I own a Series I), I cannot confirm that.

I ended up buying the Series II today. Should be arriving in 4-11 days. I'll post my opinion as soon as I form one.
