AORpreampTubeSwap ?

Postby Dr.Mavashi » Fri Mar 23, 2007 2:45 am

ok, so, once again I have an AOR 50MV Pro-Tube Lead, i also have some nice(from what discriptions of Bob say) full set of JJs. The current tubes that are in are not so great and worn out. The head and the Marshall 4X12 are moving in the appartment(Yep, negotiated a great deal with the Mrs. she said it's better be quite, I said fine, just get me the Mass attenuator for my B-day and it will be quite - DONE !!! :-))) ) so I know that you don't need to re-bias the pre-amp tubes, so does that mean that I can put the JJs in the preamp now, and later take it to the shop to Bias the the power-amp JJs? Will I have any problems if I swap the pre-amp tubes and keep the old power-amp tubes?
