HH Fair price?

Postby bouipoz » Tue May 06, 2008 7:36 am

Hi, ive got a Laney VC50 and am going to put some new speakers in it- probably Eminence Red Ryders as they seem like good all-rounders. Right now its got a pair of "HH Premier Vintage 60" speakers in (60W each). TBH their rather crap but im not just gonna chuck them away so im thinking to sell them on second hand but have no idea how much second hand speakers go for. Their 12" and 60W each. Anyone got an idea what i can expect / should advertise?

Well it depends!

They sound excellent, for doom, metal and death-metal but not much anything else.
For blues, rock and pop it sucks ,because you want a clean unmodified sound.

Anyaway, 20 pounds each? because they do not suck entirelly.
You can pronounce their good effects, good for metal, doom etc, and you have the right buyer.
20 pounds each, would be enough.
Laney Vh100r (2 Tubes 50W),
2 Laney Gs412V HH-speaker
